If you are unhappy with a selection process for an appointment in the Irish public service, you can either:

You must choose between requesting a review of a decision or making a complaint about the process. You cannot choose both.
If you have already asked for a review, you cannot then make a complaint. We will accept a complaint after requesting a review only in exceptional circumstances.

The Commission does not have a role in considering requests for review under Section 7. Requests should be made to the public body that carried out the selection process.
